We hold a joint clinic specifically for your baby’s 6–8-week check-up and initial immunisations.
The Appointment
- GP Check: This involves a 20-minute appointment with a GP for a full head-to-toe examination of your baby.
- Vaccinations: Immediately following the GP check, you will see a Practice Nurse for your baby’s first routine immunisations (jabs).
Important Notes for Parents
- Please remember to bring your baby’s Red Book (Personal Child Health Record) to this appointment.
- Postnatal Check: If you, as a parent, would also like your postnatal check, this is not part of the baby’s 6–8-week slot. Please contact our Reception Team beforehand to book a separate appointment for your check-up.
