For all minor injuries needing clinical advice and treatment please attend the Minor Injuries Unit based next to A/E at Barnsley District General.

They deal with:

  • Cuts and grazes
  • Animal and Human Bites
  • Needing tetanus injections after injuries
  • Joint Sprains and Strains that may need Xray
  • Minor Head Injuries
  • Eye cuts and Injuries
  • Foreign body in eye
  • Minor burns
  • Nose bleeds
